ROW80 Mid-week check in - July 3

No writing on July 1 - Rheumatoid arthritis flare put me to bed for the day.
July 2 - 2850 words typed, painfully (most for a client but some for my own work)

Based on how I feel, I'll take what I can get. I hope the flare is short-lived...otherwise client work comes first, my work second. Client work is still writing, and still work, so it's all still more or less okay.

Decided to focus on the 30k novella for the anthology submission call...Gothic Horror. They say write what you know, so the setting is the sticky, oppressive, bug-laden atmosphere where I live...Kentucky.

I really love Kentucky, even though I've been here less than a year. But it is humid, and there are bigger bugs than I have ever seen here...huge bugs! We'll see how it goes... :)

We're humid and buggy here in Tennessee, too. :)

I'm sorry you have such problems with your arthritis. I have problems with my hands, too, and some days are much worse than others. Here's hoping for no more flare-ups for awhile! Good luck with your writing goals. Gothic horror sounds like my kind of thing.

Hi! Had to blog for IWSG today over at the nut-tree... but have started working on my magazine article. I don't see my blog on the linky so I'm off to investigate.

Sorry to hear about your pain. Have you thought of using something like Dragon naturally when you have flare-ups? It might be worth it.

I used to live in north central Florida, where the bugs can carry off small dogs. I don't miss them at all.

I hope you have a better rest of the week!
