Moon Closest to Earth - Saturday, March 19

The moon will be at its perigee, or closest to us in its orbit around Earth, on Saturday, March 19th....the closest to Earth it's been in 20 years. This should present us with a pretty spectacular view of the moon. Check it out around sunset, when the moon is visible and closest to the horizon. Having objects in the foreground will make it seem even larger. I'm a big fan of the moon, so I'm really looking forward to a cloud-free evening sky and the chance to bask in the moonlight.
