How to Avoid One of the Biggest Mistakes Women Make...

And no, it's not about picking the wrong guy. It's about picking the wrong bra.

So, if you're a woman, chances are pretty high that you wear a bra (and if you don't, you probably should.) But is that bra doing all it can for you and your girls?

I read a statistic (I believe it was from an Oprah show) that 80% of all women are currently walking around in an ill-fitting, incorrectly sized bra. Amazing...and I'm one of them.

I saw an episode of Bethenny Ever After... where Bethenny Frankel gets properly fitted for a bra. Now, Bethanny is an in-shape woman, with what is measured as either a 30DD or a 32F (this is from memory, so I may be a bit off, but Bethenny has pretty large, um, really nice, um...she's got a nice chest.) Bethenny has a petite frame with a larger cup size, which presents its own set of fitting problems.

Many other women have regular size frames with larger cup sizes. Again, a fitting problem

So, what to do? We all can't go to Linda's on the Upper East Side and get fitted for a new bra. But we can learn how to measure ourselves, or if that's not working, go to a department store or specialty shop that does measure and fit women. We owe it to our girls to get them front and center and displayed properly.
